Videos for Sketch Group

CashD

An example of the “hands free” approach, this video was made using Procreate, Photoshop and the videographer’s magic.

History Makers Challenge

The National Museum of Australia commisssioned Sketch Group to make this short hand drawn video to promote a school student competion called “History Makers”, along with vectorised images from the video to use for promotional purposes.

I’ve been doing videos with Sketch Group for over seven years. Though most have been commissioned for internal purposes below are some that have gone public. The process involves a script, then I start on storyboards taking the job through to finished lineart and colour work. Some (like CashD) are “hands free” but the majority are live drawings in front of the camera. Once drawn, my files - or the filmed footage - goes to the videographer and the magic is completed with a Voice Over and SFX. Looking for a video for your work? Head over to Sketch Group HERE and they will be happy to discuss your project.
